Hi All, There have been LOTS of posts about people feeling unwell, with gas, bloating, d*, cramps, etc. I would just like to say to make sure you all let your OB/GYN s know about your symptoms too. Most of the time it is probably our IBS or stress, anxiety, etc. but those are also symptoms of ovarian cancer. I do NOT mean to scare anyone, but just to make sure, I hope everyone tells their docs, ok? I am a worrier and have IBS and I still worry about cancer. Hope I didn't upset anyone. Any comments???</font>

WAAHHHH scary.. i've often wondered if it may be a 'female' related problem causing my discomfort in my lower abdomen. I haven't been diagnosed with IBS but I am sure i have some form of food intolerance or an ulcer or something, because I often (more often than 'normal' people around me) get really bad, constantgas, both burping and the other kind, or unexplained D* or a nauseas feeling starting from my abdomen and running up my chest.. I have quite a big fear (yes, another one!) of getting cancer, in some form or another, and with the statistics as they are, I have convinced myself that I will get it at some stage of my life..

On this topic, does anyone else every worry about the fact that they are ignoring something that feels bad in their stomachs/bodies because we convince ourselves that its just an 'anxiety/stress related' thing, or an 'emet' thing? Meanwhile it is actually something genuine and bad and we are just passing it off and trying to ignore it because we are slight hypochondriacs?i really am scared that I might get something bad/life threatening but just ignore it and it gets worse and then they 'catch it too late' or something.. GRRRR how frustrating. I also don't want to be in and out of the docs for every little ailment or problem i 'think' i might have..!!

Kimmy....i too believe that i will develop lung cancer, like my father, and emphysema....i smoke, and have smoked for over 20 yrs...and i just know deep down that something is already going on....i feel the heaviness of my chest when i smoke, and i have a slight cough, when i laugh too hard....i hate it...i need to quit, but i don't have the will power now...i am watching my father die right now from the exact same thing. I just don't know what to do to make myself stop smoking...sorry for the long rambling post...but it's the truth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
