Hi all


I called my mother yesterday. She told me that my sister in law was afraid of "v" to. I never knew this. But she had te "virus" and for the first time in 20 years she "v". She's 29.


Now i am afraid. I dont ever want to get a virus. I dont know how people deal with this.

Ok, relax. Lots of people say they are afraid to v*, but they mean it more like, "I don't like to". Emets are well beyond that point. And even people who are mildly afraid to will let themselves v* if the n* gets to be too much (I think the jury is still out on whether us emets can really control it).

I never want sv again but I am convinced (and resigned) to the fact that it is not an "if" but a "when".

Just keep your hygeine up and your stress low!!!

I feel exactly like you, and stories like this scare me. I don't have any advice, just wanted you to know I relate.

I also dont have alot of advice.. but wanted to let you know that I know what you mean and how you feel.. its like i can be totally fine until the word v* comes into my life what so ever.. then my world is turned upside down.. and inside out.. i feel so crazy and out of place.. and lost.. and scared...


Just practice your good emet hygeine habits and keep your distance you should be ok..
