The past 6 weeks, everyday i have been eating, i've posted that i have had an upset stomach the whole time, which now seems to be getting worse. I've been to my doctor twice and he said it was my stomach getting used to eating and ibs. The past few days i have just seemed to be feeling worse, my stomach is constantly hurting, i keep feeling n* whether i have eaten or not, i manged qquite a while without taking any stemetil, untill today i started to feel really n* and my mum told me i looked really pale and ill. What i think it could be is my period maybe coming back?? i havn't had one for a year now from not eating right and i got told it might not come back and my chances of having kids may not be an option, but i've been getting the same kind of cramps, feeling n* and all the stuff that used to happen before it, so maybe its just that?? does anyone else get this before there period??..

Hey thank you, maybe it is just that, which tbh i would rather, i mean as much as i hate the feeling as we all do of being n*, i would rather have that feeling, then not being able to have the chance to have kids when im older.

Hey there, i get nauseated during the first day of my period. Lots of cramps with loss of appetite and look pale as hell too. Don't worry too much. If you have ibs, that sure doesn't help. I think you'll be fine.

    Hey Ruth,
Maybe it is things kicking back into gear (period wise) after so long. I'm not sure though. I feel for you, it sucks that your stomach is feeling cruddy all the time. I know some months (like this one) I can feel real horrible and get almost sick, and d* and stuff with my period. Has your doc suggested seeing a gastro doc?

^^ Agree. Maybe a gastro doc would be a good idea. Hope you get it figured out.

Hey thank you for the replies. Im going back to my doctor this week, i hope it is my period coming back so i know that i havn't damaged anything. I will ask about seeing a gastro doc also, its like everyday in the afternoon upto the time i go to bed, my stomach gets upset, or after an argument. My mum's also getting it now to, everytime she has an argument with my dad or my brother starts fighting with my dad and smashing things, we both start to feel n* and get stomach ache's, so im sure its to do with the stress of things, mixed with the eating and maybe my period coming back. Thank you for the replies again.

Roofus i am a lot older than you and i lost so much weight from emet that i was over 18 months without a period but mine came back about 6 months ago (not totally regular) and i am now pregnant at the ripe age of 35 so i am sure you will be fine, it's just if you starve yourself real long term you might have some permanant damage. Also i had all the same tummy probs too when i started eating again and i still have them now hun. It is going to take quite a long time for your body to re-adjust back to eating again, and youmay find that your digestion can't tollerate some foods anymore.I know it's hard when you feel quite nauseas but you have to try to keep on going with the eating or else it is so easy to slip backwards and stop again ( i know i've been there, along with others on this site) Stress affects me too and my tummy just goes into a knot and i can't eat but i make sure i drink (Ovaltine has literally been a life saver for me, i lived on it for 2 years!) Eat whatever you can when you can and don't beat yourself up if you are having a bad day as you'll feel worse.

I hope you feel better soon hun

    Trinity x
