Has this ever happened to you???

I woke up today and dry h*ed. Just before that, I remember having a
very vivid dream where I was n* and had a very scatchy, sore throat. In
the dream, I went to the bathroom and started dry h*ing over the sink.
Was it just the dream that made this happen? Has this ever happened to
anyone else? I'm not having any stomach problems, but I do have a sore
throat. I know I'm going to worry about this all day.

wow !! some dream !! i cant say this has ever happened to me but maybe you was semi awake and it actually wasnt a dream but you wasnt fully awake so u remeber those feelings .. might not make sence ... but anyway hoping your feeling better now .. i know when i get a dry throat i feel like that .. i alwasy keep some water besides my bed to prevent this from happenig

Wow, it hasn't happened to me, but I know a dry, scratchy throat can make me feel that way. Do you have a cold, or allergies that might be causing some sinus drainage? That might be what caused you to heave. I hope you feel better.[img]smileys/smilies_01.gif[/img]

this has happened to me when I felt n* in my sleep before.. but i didnt have a sore throat but I do know sometimes when i get a bad cold or sore throat when i am getting sick i get a really bad gag reflex.. that could be it..

I dry heave a lot and daily. I am so used to dry heaving thatI don't even go to the bathroom anymore when they happen.

One night in my sleep i felt really n* and awoke right after I spat all over my bed (just spit). So, that can definitely happen. Plus, the throat irritation couldn't have helped at all!

I dry heave fairly often, but usually when awake. When I am really hungry, I will dry heave- also when I am feeling motion-sick. It's different from the feeling you get when you vomit (not as much lead in, I don't necessarily think that I am in any danger of bringing anything up, etc.), but still not necessarily pleasant.


When I get an icky feeling in my throat it can make me heave- it could also be that the dream was so vivid it cause a physical response- if a dream can bring you to orgasm, it can probably make you heave as well, lol.

Oh my goodness. Unexplained dry heaving???? I would see a doctor about that PRONTO!! You shouldn't have to live with that on a daily basis!!

Thanks to everyone for the replies. I think maybe I'm catching the cold
that the boys have. I guess the combination of the sore throat and the
dream made it happen. No matter the cause, I'm sure hoping it doesn't
happen again. I would so prefer the orgasm dream to this one anyday,
Amber!!! LOL



One more question.......Does dry h*ing bother anyone? I connect it with
v*ing so it usually scares the crap out of me and I end up having a
panic attack. Just curious about what effect it has on you guys.

I agree sherbear, it certainly isn't fun! I'll usually only do it like, once every 2 years or something like that. Last time it happened was whenI tried to swallow a tablet. It hit my gag reflex and refused to go down! Strange thing is, I just laughed about it afterwards! [img]smileys/smilies_04.gif[/img]


That was an exception, though.I find it 100x scarier when it happens while you're n*.
