You should use condoms anyway.... Pregnancy isn't the only thing to be afraid of if you know what I mean? Also, condoms seem like the most effective non hormonal birth control there is.

I have been off birth control for a year and have lost 35 lbs. so there is some truth to it keeping weight on us girls in my opinion.

    Good luck.

Maybe a diaphragm or a non-hormonal IUD? If you are very, very, very in tune with your body and are disciplined enough, you could look into the Natural FamilyPlanning or Fertility Awareness Method, which my husband and I are doing. We're only in the first month, and I swear I'm already pregnant. So, NFP or Fertility Awareness are probably not the way to go for you. Sorry I'm not much help!

I was going to suggest the IUD. I have heard a lot of people like them. It is good for up to five years too, so if you don't want to get pregnant for a while, you won't have to worry about it. On the other hand, if you decided you do want to get pregnant, I've heard you can have it taken out and start trying immediately.

I was thinking an IUD but I dont know any one who has used to it so i
can ask questions...i read online that you get really bad cramps when
they first put it in...thats scary...i just dont know how effective it
    is...you know?
