My brother is sick, so am I

I just got home from class, and I am not feeling very great. I have pretty bad stomach cramps and a lot of gas but nothing came out yet. When I got home, I found out that my brother v* 3 times, at 5 AM, 9AM, and about 30 minutes ago. I'm thinking it was the chicken that we ate last night, my question is does this sound like a virus or just food poisioning? When am I in the clear? I ate the food around 6PM last night.

Sorry to hear that your not feeling good. Did anyone else eat the
chicken? Was it chicken you cooked at home? Does he have any other
symptoms other than the v*? fever or d*? 48 hours after your first
exposed is when you are in the clear. if it was fp* you would get sick
from a toxin within 12 hours of eating it... but if it was a bacterial
fp* it takes like 3 days atleast to gestate to make you sick. it seems
unlikly that you would both have a sv* on the same day unless you were
exposed to the same v* or poop of a sick person. it would be fp* from
the chicken but did anyone else eat it?

I guess it could be either...my husband is home with d today, and now i am freaking out about that...i hate sickness....i hope that you will be fine, and that your brother will recover quickly!!!!

I just called my mother, she ate it and she feels fine. Yes, it was cooked at home, and no, my brother said he has no fever and that he had no gas or d*. And now, he said he feels OK. I don't know whats going on, maybe I'm catching something and this is the beginning for me.

do you live with your brother? doesnt sound like fp* if your mom is
fine. do you have ibs? i get stress related d* from having ibs and it
gives me cramps and i feel yucky. but even if he is sv* sick,
just wash your hands before you eat, and dont touch your face, eyes,
nose or mouth because you have to ingest the sv* from his v* or poop
inorder to get sick from him. are you stressed about anything? how are
you feeling now?
