One of the things you (and others) can do to stop this (anxiety) from happening over and over is to write down every single "symptom" that you have when you feel like this. Make a list. Kind of like: gassy, passing wind, knot in my stomach, headache, shaking....etc. etc...If you're in pain, describe the pain very very clearly and thoroughly. THEN you can note later that you were not sick, and you did not vomit from these feelings. Next time you have them and you're scared, make another list, or "check off" the symptoms from before. Note AGAIN that you did not get sick from these feelings. Eventually as time goes on, you will start to see that all of these feelings do not lead to vomiting. People feel like this often, yet people who don't want to do not vomit more than once every 20 or 30 years. My husband and I are like that....he's only been sick once in 30 years, and I have been sick once ten years ago (after chemo) and before that it was like 1971. I knew before I did it that the feeling was not the same as the feelings I had had over and over (almost daily) for years. Anyway, my point is that learning what is anxiety and what is real sickness is a huge benefit.

    Good luck!

Okay, so your first entry in your "anxiety journal" would be that gas/wind is uncomfortable, but does not lead to vomiting. Try some anti-gas meds if you have any. Take care.
