Well, in honor of my emet, my friends are letting me pick the movie we're gonna watch for Halloween.
So I come here to ask for some horror movies that are v*-free! I don't
mind blood and guts and gore... As long as there's no v*.

Hi there!
I absolutely LOVE horror movies, and zombie ones are my favorites. "Land of the Dead" and the original and new "Dawn of the Dead"'s are safe, "Night of the Living Dead" is safe as well.
As far as non-zombie movies "Halloween" is okay (not sure about the sequels but the first one is fine), the old and new "Amityville Horror" are good---there's so many others out there and I can't think of them right now.
One movie I found terrifying was "Ju-On", which is the original, Japanese version of "The Grudge". It was much better than the American version and much more scary. The only thing is it has subtitles, which can be a little distracting. Still, it's worth watching--very frightening!
Hope this helps you out somewhat!
That is what Im going to do on Halloween too, watchig movies with my
bf...i hate scary movies they totally freak me out and give me
nightmares...soo i dont know, lol no suggestions sorry.
I love Sam

Thanks for those suggestions! I'll check some of those out for sureI'll probably end up bringing a few and let my friends choose which ones they prefer.
Christianne, I believe that the new Amityville Horror does have a v* scene in it!!! It totally caught me off guard when I watched it!!! I had to run away!!!! I just didnt want this poor girl to go and watch that and then be caught off guard like I was!!!!!!!

And in the first Amityville Horror there is a scene where the dad doesn't feel well, but no actual v*ing or anything. I'm not as bothered by fake v*ing in movies as some others are, so maybe I just didn't notice.
The new version of The Hills Have Eyes was really really good. It was very gross but I don't think there was any v*. I don't usually notice because it doesn't bother me to see it in movies. Also Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the one with Jessica Biel) it was really good. Someone v* but all you see is their head go down.

The Hills have Eyes was very good and I was really surprised that there were no v* scenes in it...pleasently surprised I might add! With all the other horrible, gross things that happen in that movie I don't think my stomach would have been able to handle a v* scene!!!
