Just a thought to something my mum said to me a while back that I wanted to share with you guys =)

A while back I was having a real bad time with my ibs, and even though at the moment its going ok, Im never sure when it will hit me again..

What she said was, she had noticed that I really eat alot less than I used to and maybe that could be contributing towards my ibs, so I started to eat more, I eat 2 middle size meals a day and 2 snacks inbetween and more fiber, so it has helped a bit its made me more regular, given me more to process rather than the pains from not having much there.

So thats just a thought really =)

Yeah actually I think you may have something there. I've noticed that many emets on this site have been diagnosed with IBS, and i think it may be because of strange eating patterns. I don't have IBS, but i get irregular and diarrhea-y when i stop eating or binge eat or eat bad things. So, I think you're right!

Oh I eat. And I still have out of control IBS. But I do know what you mean, when I haven't eaten in a while, sometimes I forget to eat, and I get terrible n*. And when I'm n* I can't eat, and if I can't eat I just keep on feeling sick. It's terrible.

It's not how much you eat, rather it's what you eat. IBS can be helpe dwith diet.
