Omg here is a rant for you! I live in a uni flat with 5 other girls. One of the girls is having a friend to stay tonight and she has brought 4 other people with her, they are all in the RAF together. I think this is a bit out of order because my flatmate has never even met these people before. Anyway to make things worse my flatmate has gone out for a chinese with some other people she knows and left them here in my flat where they are currently playing drinking games!!! This is freaky enough as it is so im sitting in my room coz they are pretty intimidating and i can hear them and one of them goes "Im gonna be sick" and charges past my room into the bathroom (2 doors down from me). I was like omg! I heard a little coughing and him telling another guy it was just saliva. Weirdly i wasn't as freaked out about this asi thought i would bebut i am definetly freaked out about being stuck in a flat with them all night. They are going out to some clubs so will be getting even drunker and then coming back here to sleep. Iv already decided to sleep in my flatmates room because mine i right next to the one they are sleeping in and it will be very noisy but that is still close to the bathroom. I dont want to freak out in front of my flatmates but i havnt go anywhere else to go Im pretty sure if things carry on the way they are i will have a full blown panic attack and im really afraid to use my bathroom. I dont know what to do!

That's awful! And not just from an emet standpoint. Having all those people being noisy and disruptive in your space is truly frustrating. Does your roommate do this often? if so, maybe you and the other people in the house can talk to her about not having big gatherings of overnight guests. Does it bother anyone else?

No she hasn't done it before, I'm not really annoyed at her, more at these people who have just turned up in our flat and taken over! I would never act that way if i was a guest in someons house! Everyone else is annoyed though, we had to eat our tea in our bedrooms coz they were in the living room! Im desperate to sleep tonight coz i was out last night and i have an essay to write tomorrow. Aaaagghh the perils of flat sharing!!

Poor you! That sounds horrible. It is bad enough having people you don't know in your flat, let alone them all drinking heavily. The bathroom situation must be really difficult for you. I know I would be scared too. I hope you are o.k.and don't hear too much noise tonight.

pissed. That is why I never wanted a roommate..but i did..and she got
rally sick and i moved out! infact i wasnt home when she was sick and i
avoided the place for a freaking month before i went in to get my stuff.

Hey, phew! Luckily it all went ok. They got in at 4.30 this morning but I didn't hear them at all and they have left now. Im still a bit freaked out about the bathroom but the cleaner comes tomorrow so it should be ok. Hopefully nothing like this will happen again but I'm kind of pleased with myself. I would usually have gone straight to shaking panic mode when I heard that happening and have stuffed my fingers in my ears. But this time I didn't, i kind of listened a bit to see what would happen...triumph??

You did great staying there throughout that!! You knew they would come back drunk and possibily vomit, especially after one of them did before- but you stuck it out... Well done hun!
