I'd say you are definatly ok! French Fries have a tendecy to get even individuals who don't have IBS. They are greasy which seems to makes your stools a little soft. They are also potatoes which is a carb that is broken down in the small intestine which gives you some pretty good gas. I would just grab a pepto pill or something that helps both symptoms like Imodium+Gas Relief. I would say I am 99.9% sure that you will be just fine, the only thing that might make you feel a little off will be your fear of it, so just try and remember all the times you think your gonna be sick, and how many of them actually turn out to be a real virus not just your fear.

Ur gonna be just fine. I promise!

Hey there! I totally agree with Lauren on this one. I'm absolutely
positive your fine. As hard as it is sometimes you need to go out and
try to enjoy yourself. I am having the same problem right now. I
suddenly got really n* a while ago and am sorta feeling better (knock
on wood) but a friend and I were supposed to go out to dinner. Ugh! It
sucks....but i know i should just force myself to go becuase i can't let
this phobia knock me down....feel better!!!!!

If you look up the main symptoms for anxiety you will see that the throat thing you are experiencing is extremely common as well. When we get anxious about things andour chest sometimes tightens and we can feel anywhere from something is stuck in our throat, to feeling like we are indeed suffocateing. Try to relax, I have been there so many times, and so has most everyone hereand if you need any just PM me. Sometimes the throat can become irriatated by fumes likes toenail polish.

    Hope this helps
