So I decided that I was fed up of feeling n* every evening, so I went out and bought some things to kick the n*'s backside:

Peppermint tea
Ginger tea
Cammomile Tea
(... and a packet of peppermint Polos)

I've never ever tried these teas before so I'm actually pretty excited, even moreso that they may stop me feeling s*. But I'd love your opinions.

In your opinion, which tea should I try first? I'm guessing people have their own preferred choice - but which one tastes better and soothes the stomach best?

Thanks

A rule of thumb is that ginger wont sooth your tummy...it will nick
n*...its too spicy, and "hot" to sooth your tummy...but pepperming will
sooth and "cool" your tummy, and both aid with digestion, so if you
have something that is giving your heartburn stay away from ginger,
something giving you gas you can use ginger, if you eat something spicy
dont have ginger tea after...opt for peppermint. and chamolimie is
great for relaxation...and it is often used to help people sleep..so
use it at night, so it donest conflict your normal reaction to it
during the day...i love peppermint tea...i find them all bitter, but
they help a lot, so i drink them...even just a few sips seems ot help
me. good luck

On the advice of rubysoho120 I am now supping Peppermint tea andalready feeling better than I was,for the first time in ages! Either it's psychological (probably)or this tea works fast! I even fancy a nice bacon sandwich right now, which sounds promising, considering I've been off food.

And I'm really glad to hear that Cammomile will calm my nerves *and* help me sleep - exactly what I need - relaxation and a good night's sleep.Edited by: laurav

i've never tried cammomile. but I swear by ginger ANYTHING and even
though i cant stand the taste of peppermint, I always have gum or
mentos with me. i'm also addicted to emetrol
And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.

I'm glad you've found something to help you. If you really like the way these plants work you can also buy at least ginger and peppermint in a gel capsule. They work like the tea for me and I can throw them in my purse.
