OK...I really have to know how you guys feel about this...This might be TMI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I have d* A LOT...I have never been checked for IBS, totally self-diagnosed, but I d* A LOT...pretty much everyday...yep, now that I think about it, I do it at the least twice a day and at the most, 5 times a day...

    Do you guys fear d*???

    I don't...

I mean, it's no fun and it hurts like hell because of how my stomach cramps...but I don't fear it...In some sick and strange way, I enjoy it...I think of it as a cleansing...

I just didn't know if you guys feared d* as much as v*. I certainly don't mind d* at all...

    Yea, I'm weird...

I am not afraid of diarrhea itself - it's just when I get diarrhea, I always think I have a sv* and am going to v*.

    Hi there!!

I don't mind d* at all--it really doesn't bother me that much. Especially when I know why I have it (for example, eating something disagreeable or too much junk ). I actually don't fear it as a sign I'm getting a sv* either. For some reason, every single time my son's had an sv* it always began with a tummyache, than v*, than d*. Never d* first. This may not be always the case with everybody, but it gives me peace of mind.
Otherwise, I would drive myself crazy!

I have IBS and while I don't mind the wide variety of suprises my stomach likes to spring on me what I do find hard is that I get a lot of nausea with my ibs attacks, it always goes away once I've been to the toilet but I always feel SO sick!

Um, I guess I don't FEAR d* but it always makes me wonder about a sv. I get panicky if I have a lot of it...LOL I even talk myself through my d* out loud (my bf thinks I'ma freak) I say things like "It's ok Mel, you'll feel better after it's all out. It's ok, you're just getting cleaned out is all" LOL ...does anyone else talk themselves through d*...most of the time I am ok with d* but if I feel worse after I go like I did the other night then I get worried.

I think I fear it because I don't have it often at all. I always assume it's going to turn into a sv. When I do get it I am always tuned into how my stomach is feeling. I take Immodium until it's gone.

Yeah, going to have to say Ifear d*. Every time I've ever had it, it's lead to more... serious complications (v*) and always dehydrates me. Just the overallexperience is insanely unpleasant for me.

I don't mind it all all. I just think of it as my body getting rid of whatever was bothering it- like you said it's kinda cleansing...I'm pretty prone to diarrhea- usually after I use cleaning products I get it just from the fumes lol... Or any disruption to my system really. When I have my periods I get itprettybad and it makes me all hot and nauseous- that's the only time I hate it, because I have a fear of having diarrhea and vomiting at the same time... ButI never have. Overall I feel thankful that it's coming out that way instead of the other!

I never fear d* unless it's watery and painless. Strangely enough, the d* I have with an sv* never causes me pain. So if I'm feeling crampy, it's easier not to worry so much.

Ya know, I feel the same way! The last time I had d* with no stomach cramps and no pain I thought I was going to v* (never did) but when you get those cramps and pain yeah it hurts but nothing ever comes of it.

Hmm I'd have to say I am scared some of d*, mostly because my stomach gets all crappy feeling, and I fear it leading to other worse things (sv namely).

I do think the whole "control" aspect does extend to d* and bowel functions as well unfortunately. I hate it when my intestines act up because I don't like the feeling that I dont know exactly why, and don't like the whole loss of control/ having to go to the restroom 5 times. Ive only ever v*ed with an sv, but still any bowel oddities freak me out some as well. I don't get d* often (the real deal as in like water).

I don't really fear it unless the cramps are REALLY bad and they make me nauseous. But like most said, I'd rather have it then vomit!

I hate D* and I fear it if it happens more than like 3x or is accompanied by extremely painful cramps. The dehydration and pain aspect make me very queezy, which make me dry heave.
