Hello Everyone. I am new to this site, and I want to thank everyone because I honestly feel relieved that there are so many others with the same fear. I didnt even know it had a name.

I decided to do some research because my daughter came down with a stomach thing yesterday. I felt awfull because i couldn't even nurture her the way I would if she had a simple cold or any other kind of sickness. She is only three years old, and I dont want her to sense me being afriad, though I think she already has.

I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression as a teenager and now I am 24. I have gotten over my depression for the most part, and anxiety I've learned to deal with (ok somewhat).

When I do get "panic attacks" the first symptom is nausea.... which Im sure is similar to everyone else on here.

I'm in the same boat as you...I've wondered my whole life what was wrong with me until last night when I stumbled across this site.

It's unbelievable the feeling of relief you get knowing there are others out there with the same condition!

I hope the best for you!

Hi there!!

Welcome to both of you!! This is an amazing site with lots of great people on it---the help and advice and reassurance here is just wonderful.
Tays, there's also a lot of mommies on here (me too!!) so we all know how you feel when our children become ill. My son's 9, so he's older, and I recently explained to him about my phobia. Yours is probably too little to understand, but hopefully you have someone there to help you through the really rough emet moments. I wish I had some better advice for you, but I'm still struggling with it as well!!
Anyways, welcome to the site!!!

Wow... Newbie here too.

I'm 16, and although I'm young, I have been struggling with this for
what feels like forever!! It was an amazing feeling to find all of
these people, and just the fact that I could finally put a name to my
feelings were amazing! I'm glad I found somewhere where I can talk
about my worries and anxiety without being told it's all in my head.

Are there many people on here as young as me? Do you worry about siblings?
