Hi

I'm feeling pretty low tonight. Think it's mainly PMS, but still. Everything thats been on my mind recently seems 10 times worse. Since my emets i lost touch with my school friends and i no longer trust them, i have a few new friends from uni etc but i really miss having someone close to really open up to and talk to. I don't feel needed as a friend, they all have other friends too. Also this week, i had my last proper councolling thingy, have one more but it's just a tying up loose ends thingy. I'm feeling a bit weird about this as the councelling has been a major support for me and although it has not 'cured' my emets it has been helping me to deal with it and cope with this new part of me. I was also feeling lost and didn't know who i was for a while but i feel i'm beginning to find myself again. I also have exam deadlines b4 christmas. eeek. Basically i'm feeling a bit vunerable, friendless and a bit down. Would just like to know that there are others out there who can identify with me or just give me a few encouraging words.... anything

I feel like I've lost touch with a lot of friends, too. I'd like to believe it's just because of getting older and being married, but some of it has to do with this darn phobia. Whenever you are feeling sad or lonely, it's nice to know you can always come on here and have an understanding friend to talk to.

Sorry you are feeling so low. You have a lot to cope with at the moment. It will be hard knowing you have no more councelling sessions. I have never been for councelling, but I did do a confidence course earlier this year which really helped me with all sorts of things. When that came to an end I felt quite upset as I felt I still needed to go for longer. I don't really know what to suggest, but I just wanted to let you know that I am thinking of you and hope you soon feel better.

I feel like that quite often. I lost alot of my friends 3 years ago, and I miss them like crazy. Sometimes I just get really down and feel incredibly lonely. I was laid off from my job last year, and have been having a hard time finding a new job. I just believe that everything has a way of working itself out, and things will get better. I hope you feel better soon, sometimes it helps knowing others feel the same way as you.

Aw, I'm sorry you're going through a rough time right now, hun. I know how hard it is to isolate yourself but at the same time wish you had friendly support. I hope you can keep finding strength through counselling. If you ever need some one on one listening(well typing and reading)- I'm always here for you. My email is [email protected] Or you can just PM me. I hope you feel better soon.
