I sort of overindulged at dinner tonight and then took a very long fairly brisk walk. When I got home I had horrible heartburn so I popped 2 Tums. Well, the heartburn is gone but I have an awful bitter/mucous-y taste in the back of my throat that won't go away. I've drunk water, brushed my teeth, chewed gum....you name it....and it is still there. Plus I have these weird pinchy type pains that are going through my stomach and instestines. Anywone have any ideas what this all is??

I have no idea about the pinchy pains. It could be gas though, I think. Are you gassy at all? Have you tried gargling to get rid of the taste?

I hope it goes away Sorry I don't know what else to suggest.
