It's been raining like mad here too--coastal North Carolina. The winds are almost like tropical storm force winds and it's really cold too. Cold rain is the worst! I'd almost rather have it snow.

That's cool you were on the news. I was one year b/c my then-boyfriend and I were out shopping at 5 am the day after Thanksgiving and the news crew was interviewing people standing in line. Not as exciting as your adventure! Glad everything's okay. It makes me glad I have a 4-wheel drive pickup truck. It lets me feel tall and big for once--I'm only 5'1".
