    Hey Everybody,

It has been a while since i last posted but i want to tell everyone what i discovered. I was reading Johnlp's post about the sanitizer to fight the virus and wanted to share what i discovered. i was distraught when i recently realized that the purell i use every few minutes (I teach kindergarten) does not fight Norovirus so I started to really research what I could do to fight it. I came across a product called alpet d2 sanitizer. I read ALOT about it and found it is FDA approved and highly recommended. There are many websites about it so I am not going to give you a link. I just typed in a search for alpet d2. I am going to order the hand sanitizer ASAP. I hope this is somewhat informative or helpful. I would love to hear from anyone that knows anything about this product.

I read the website and I didn't see anywhere on there where it says
"kills norovirus" it only said kills 99.999% of germs...which means
everything but norovirus, like all the other hand sanitizers, because
you can't kill nornvirus without washing it down the drain. or with
bleach. If it does say on there about killing the sv* lemme know, cuz I
    couldn't find it.
    I love Sam

They used the FCV (feline calicivirus) which is the same structure and of the same family as Norwalk / Norovirus.

I just got my four bottles in today! I love this stuff! If it only works in my mind, screw it, I'm using it anyway. LOL! Over a year illness free since I've started using it. That includes my wife and kids too (well my duagter got sv* back in February but she is a thumb sucker and was gointg to daycare back then. (yuck).

    Rubysoho,

Here are a couple of websites that specifically mention that it is useful against Norovirus.

    www.findarticles.com

    Hope this helps.
