Oh my God, we had a healthy eating lecture at school and they asked for some people to come up and try some smoothies to guess what was in them. I really like smoothies so I thought I might as well go for it. Turns out it was a bad idea- one of the smoothies was a blend of sausages, chips and coke. It tasted so, so horrible. The second one was the same thing but with milk! The third one was nice though, strawberry and melon.

I'm not worried it will make me sick or anything, but I feel like I should have been warned there was something other than fruit in the smoothies because... eww!

That sounds totally disgusting! Not because of the emet factor, but because it's liquid sausage! Who in their right mind would drink that???

here's a funny thing. Once I mixed up this healthy shake thing for purebred Himalayan kittens I was raising. It had canned kitten formula, brewer's yeast, raw liver, fishy Fancy Feast and some kitty vitamins. I put it in the blender and gave it to the cats, and just stuck the blender with the rest of it in the fridge.

When I got home from work my teenage son was sitting on the couch and he kept burping and then he said "what was that MILKSHAKE" in the fridge? umm.....CAT FOOD maybe!???!!!!

ha ha ha ha ha...believe it or not he wasn't the least bit sick!

I think he just took one swig...can't remember. What a goof, though. I swear you could fry up the garbage and give it to that boy to eat and he'd be none the wiser. (I envy that!)

LoL that's funny Sage, it sounds like my dad, he'll eat anything cause he grew up poor and had to eat just about everything, don't get me started on his mustard sandwich stories.

As for the smoothies....EWW! Why would you put that in a smoothie? LoL Although people do like strange things.
