OK, you're hot because you turned the heat up and ate dinner. Eating alone can make you warmer so that's OK. Get a washcloth and wet it w/ cold water, place it on the back of your neck and you can run your wrists under some cool water. Do you have a fan you can sit near? Once you cool off I think you will start feeling better.

Hey, Violet did you try what SimplyMe suggested? I will when I get a panic attack. I never tried the washcloth on back of my neckthing, but the fan DOES help. You give very good advice, SimplyMe. Violet, maybe if you takea nice shower when you feel panicky, too and then lie down and sip flat ginger ale. Edited by: ginger_saves

I hate, hate, hate to be hot when i am n*. I agree with SimplyMe also. Rubbing a cold washcloth on the face can really help. Is it cold outside where you are? If so, step outside barefoot. If you're wierded out by bare feet on the ground, step into the bathtub( it will be cold if you've not been in there for a few hours). Cools you down immediately. Feel better soon. ~sending good vibes~
