Help!!

It's four AM here and I just woke up to a really small retching noise. Like, usually I would think that was part of a dream but then it happened again right after the first. It was really small. I am so so so so so so so nervous that it is one of my parents, or specifically my dad!!! The thing is, there was no movement in his bedroom, and no one was in the bathroom. Which makes me think that it was one of my cats, but I got up and couldn't find any v* anywhere. So now I am panicking, I have my cell phone just in case and i'm in my winter coat and sneakers in case I have to run out into the street. GAHHH!!! help me!!! i'm downstairs and i should try to sleep on the couch but i cant. no!! I'm so scared!!!

Ok, well is anyone sick, like with a bad cold or anything? Because maybe that person was coughing a little too hard and gagged a bit.

I think you should go back upstairs, maybe put some music on (personal like an iPod or cd walkman thingy) relax and try to sleep.

How are you now? Did anything happen? I hope not!

hah well i fell asleep around five on the couch in my winter jacket and sneakers, clutching my cell phone and house keys.

Then my dad found me down there at six thirty, and insisted that nothing had happened, but we still can't find any cat v* if that is the case.

The thing is, i SWEAR that it actually happened!! I was awake enough to know that the second one was real!! So I don't know what it was. I guess I'm okay now, just really tired and much more ocd-is because now i'm convinced that this all happened because I didn't straighten the bath mat as straight as I usualy do .

Thanks you guys for replying!! I know it was stupid to think that people would be on at four AM to reply, but i'm glad that you did.

Aww yeah I hate that when you think someone in the house is sick. Argh one time I was SURE my dad was v*ing in the br (which was right across the hall from my bedroom), because I woke up at the exact time he was spitting toothpaste into the sink, and it was the first thing I heard upon waking. Man I plugged my ears for a good hour, then when they started hurting I put my cd player on quick and turned the music WAY up, and a couple hours later I dared go out, and no one was home! Lol dad called later in the morning for some reason, and I just casually asked him if he was sick or anything, and he's like "no" so yeah it was just him brushing his teeth like he does every morning. I felt so stupid lol!

I go through that all the time. It can be so draining. I sleep light so if I hear a bedroom door open or hear one of my kids in the bathroom in the middle of the night I go right into panic mode. So you guys are not alone and should not feel stupid, we are all in this together.

Hopefully everyone is alright and you were able to fall asleep so good. I know what you're going through!!
