I have nine days left in this hell hole school. Well, this morning I had morning duty. The first thing that greeted me was 2 kids saying they had to go v*. Then another said he had been v* all night. I tried to remain calm until I saw the janitor at the front of the lunch room sweeping up the dreaded sprinkle stuff. I said what happened? Did somebody spill something? She said no. A pre-K kid in line had v* a little. I am freakin. I didn't see it or hear it. I don't know how close I was to this kid or what. Now everybody is talkin about somebody in their family has it and so on and so on and so on. How will I make it 9 more days? On top of that. In this scumbag area that I work in, I had my credit card and drivers license stolen out of my car last Friday. It is just about as close to a living hell as you can get.

Oh I am so sorry...You are really a trooper. I honestly don't know how I would handle the situation. I know you are already counting down the days but just keep counting...9 more days is cake...You can totally do this...You have done it this long with kids v* and hearing stories about v*...You have made it this far and haven't caught it, so just keep on...I know that you can do this...I will have a countdown with you...Hell, We should post a thread of your countdown, just to give you some inspiration and a reminder that you are almost out of that place.

I hate that sprinkle cat litter stuff.

That sh*# smells worse than the v*. It just accentuates it. It is so crazy because the closer it gets the more freaked out I get. I don't even want to breathe the same air. They are all coughing and look so sick and unhealthy. It looks like a freggin third world county. You know those feed thehungry commercials, that's what this place looks like. I may have to start a countdown thread. I don't know if anybody would participate but I sure as HELL would. I know people are tired of hearing me bitch about my job, but for every random experience that somebody has, I have that same experience anywhere from 2-10 times daily. Plus, my throat is killin me again. I just got off an antibiotic 2 weeks ago and I'm gettin sick again. I can take it as long as it is not an sv*.

If ever there was Hell on Earth...that would be it. Nasty kids!

It's amazing that I ever had any!and I darn sure do not tolerate other peoples kids well. I'm never sure who frustrates me more, the sick kid or the thoughtless parent that thinks it no big deal to expose their sick kids to others!

It's the parents. Here I am again with a da*# bad sore throat. They are sending them here coughing all over the place. I just want to crawl in a hole til it's over. I don't think it will ever end. I had one sent to school with the flu and his stupid father works second shift. He could have kept him at home til the mother got home. What is up with that? I look around everyday when I am riding down the rode and look at how nasty people look all over the place. Is it just this part ofthe countryor is it all over? I teach about 60 miles outside of Atlanta. They consider us part of metropolitan Atlanta. We just have pure white trashdown here.

Oh how horrible!! I give you so much credit for sticking it out the last days, though. I would've bolted out of there and never looked back! All the teachers on here amaze me---I really don't know how you all do it. Must be a lot stronger than me! I have a son but other children make me sooo nervous.

I remember that sprinkle stuff from grade school---we all actually called it P*** Dust........yuck! It smelled minty too, but I always knew what it meant and went into full panic mode immediately. Ugh!!

Hang in there---you are almost done!

Just wanted to say, I live further down south in Georgia, and we are not all trash! LOL!

However, the public school (and not to knock all public schools) in our town sucks, there is just no nicer way to put it. So we homeschooled for a few years and now our children are all at a private school. When my oldest daughter was here in town at the public school (the one year she did go) some idiot mother sent her child to school coughing and running a 103.0 fever. The school called and asked her to come get her, so she did, but guess where that poor little girl was the very next day? Right back in the class room, coughing and still with a high fever.
    Anywho .......
I am glad that it is almost over for you!!
