Hi all, not posted on here for a bit but just feel a bit panicky today. My boyfriend called to see me this morning after he'd finished work on nights and told me he felt sick and had gastric stomach ache. He doesn't know I have a phobia of being sick (not been with him long) and was ribbing me and saying he's got a virus and I will get in next and not to plan to go out much this week just incase. He kissed me and was breathing all over me and I couldn't escape it! I've rang him just now to see if he's OK and he said he doesn't feel great but hasn't been sick or anything and he's up and about so can't be too bad. He has been very tired lately so am just wondering if its that rather than a virus. I am terrified of catching it now.

    How are you going now?

I told my boyfriend (now husband) after we had been going out for about 2 months about the phobia, I don't think he realised at the time how bad it was, but at least then he can give you space when he's not feeling great.

Have you visited Sage's site? http://emetophobiahelp.blogspot.com/
I think there's a lot of information there that will help put your mind at ease when it comes to catching sv*s. Hopefully, whatever your boyfriend has was nothing and he's feeling better now.

How is he now? I hope it is nothing, maybe just something that didn't agree with him food-wise. I hope all is well.

Hi, thanks for your support. I saw him last night and he said he's been OK but one of his son's was sick and off school yesterday so there does seem to be some sort of bug going around. However, he seems to have escaped it and he thinks with him its tiredness. His sons did have a bug not long since and I was terrified of it coming through to me but it never did so maybe I am worrying over nothing. However, as we know, its not easy not to panic is it?

sorry you're going through such a rough time!!
i'm not sure how old your bf's son is, but maybe it's just a rotavirus,
which only causes d* and a general feeling of weakness/tiredness in
    adults.
hope everything turns out all right (which i'm sure it will!)!!
