As far as the percocet goes, I've never taken it but my brother had to after a car accident and he's not emet, would take it on an EMPTY stomach (UGH) and never once even complained of n. Make sure you take it w/ food and maybe jsut start off w/ the lowest dose you can and see if that works on the pain.

Good luck w/ your appt tomorrow. Are you on the pill or they are going to put you on to try to make the cyst go away? Hopefully that works but again even if you have to have surgery I have a friend that has had many surgeries like that, she's not an emet and v very easily and NEVER got sick from one of those surgeries. Tell the surgeon of your fear and ask for antiemetics and you should be just fine. BUT you don't even know at this point, you may not hav to have surgery.

I'm sure eating when in such pain and having n from pain is very difficult. What about some protien bars or drinks? Or the meal replacement drinks for days you jsut dont want an entire meal? Those are all healthy and can help put on some weight. Plus if you are on the pill that may help you gain weight as well.

I know you are having a difficult time seeing the light at the end of the tunnel but its there. Its so hard when you're in it to see that things will work out but they will. This can't last forever ... nothing does. Take it in bite sizes ... first try and minimize your current pain, wait and see what the doc says tomorrow before jumping into worst case scenerios and then piece by piece deal with parts of the problems rather than try to jump in and solve it all at once. I know its hard, in fact I do the exact same thing you're doing ... but when I can break it down it really does help and it will help you too.

We are all here for you to give you support or an ear. Also feel free to pm anytime.

I took percocet after both my c-sections and it didn't make me sick. It did make me feel tired, loopy and spacey which I didn't like so I stopped taking it. I would take it again if I was in bad pain.
