I have fallen in love with a wonderful woman. She makes me happier than
anyone else I have ever met. I knew from the start that she has
emetophobia. I want to be able to be with her and help her, but she is
having trouble believing me when I say so. I would go anywhere and do
anything for her. Maybe she is scared I only THINK I can deal with this. Its
not whether I think it will be easy, it wont, I know that...but I am willing to
deal with this condition for as long as it takes. I WANT to bear this burden
    with her. Any suggestions?

try to be patient. actions speak louder then words.
i hope the best for you.

I\'m so tired but I can\'t sleep, standing on the edge of something much too deep, funny how you feel so much but can

not say a word, We are screaming inside but can\'t be heard.

If she goes to counselling, maybe tell her that you're willing to go with her anytime. My husband (then boyfriend) would come with me to particularly scary sessions (like when I was going to be watching vomit videos), and just be there and hold my hand and then hug me when I always cried afterwards. That showed me that he really was supportive and was going to stick by me.

Be patient even when you know what she says or wants to do is irrational. My husband is great for that. If I feel threatened and want to leave a situation, he always understands even if it's ridiculous.
