Hey,

Does anyone have favourite soothing music they listen to when they feel nauseated?

I was just thinking of it while I was flicking through Youtube for songs to listen to. I feel a bit n* right now as I've eaten faaar too much today and my period's due tomorrow

I also think I read somewhere on the internet once about music specially developed to help with n* and v*. Apparently there is quite a link between n* and sound. Has anyone else heard of this?

Yes and to be honest with you the last time I was sick Many years ago I was at a friends house and they had country music playing all night (They liked to listen to it when they slept) and ever since to much country music makes me n*. So not to run the risk of being triggered by music if i feel n* I tend to watch a movie that I have seen a thousand times or listen to nature noise that you can get on c.d such as rain or the ocean. some how it helps ecspecially the movie thing.
I\'m so tired but I can\'t sleep, standing on the edge of something much too deep, funny how you feel so much but can

not say a word, We are screaming inside but can\'t be heard.

I guess it depends on what kind of music you like. My personal favorite is acoustic. It's rarely raucous, it's one of my favorite types of music anyway, and I find it quite soothing

As far as acoustic goes, my favorite musician is a guy called John Allred. He's a local musician to Salt Lake City, and although you really have to see him live to get the full effect, I love his music and find it particularly soothing. He has YouTube videos, and a Myspace, check him out if you wish! (www.myspace.com/allred)

Oh, and sorry, his solo project is just called "Allred." Just go to YouTube and type in "Allred" or "Allred Utah"
