marijuana and prozac?

hey, i might be being prescribed prozac, does anyone smoke weed and take prozac? just worried incase it may have some adverse effects?

i used to be a weed smoker, but i wasn't on any anti-depressants. i don't think it would be a good idea to mix the two. prozac tends to make you sleepy by itself (i've been on prozac since july), i think smoking weed with it would just intensify the effects and make you sleep constantly. it could really mess up things in your brain...i really wouldn't do it if i were you.

I wouldn't want you to mix the two. Just in general its probably not a good idea, especially if your dr doesn't know you smoke. And after reading what laylamommy posted it definitely seems a bit scary.
