For those who have had it, how long did it take to deveop?

I know I am judt freaking out..i am seriously going to stop eating out.I cannot take this.

I wish there was a salmonella and e coli vaccine just like a rota and hepetitis vaccine.

That way, i will be able to eat whatever i want and not worry!

What may have led you to believe you might be poisoned?

(In answer to your question, which is very general...it depends on the type of food poisoning. It can take anything from 20 minutes to a couple of hours. After that, I suppose you can be "poisoned" but probably not vomit - you'd be more likely to get diarrhea. If you get a food-borne virus however that would take a few days to show up.

Basically, there's no need to worry. Restaurants have pretty high standards for cleanliness. You hear of food poisoning on the news only because it is rare. They don't make news reports out of everyday occurences!

lol, i just get freaked out as to what possibly could have contaminated the food.

could the person who had folded the box had noro on their hands?
could the pizza slider inner have been cross contaminated?(I have no clue what that thing is called)
could the pizza cuter have cross contamination on it?

I can't help but have my worry get the best of me especially since i am not watching them to cook it.

i just basically wanted to know how long it usually takes for people to develop symptoms so i can not worry.

    I can relate 100%

We had pizza this evening and we dont do it often because of my emet and I freak myself out when I eat anywhere.

But I have to repeat that the place is great, we eat there a lot and never got sick so why now? doesnt always work lol

I am at the point where I can barely touch meat even Since meat is often what gives us problems, I stick to fresh foods that is not imported or if it is from a country that has similar strong food guards. *sighs*

Well thank goodness that most places, at least here ln California, they have to wear gloves now. I hate the thought of people touching my food.
