    Hello All.

I recently attended my first phycology appointment & my Dr. made a comment to me regarding this phobia that I wanted to share, He said that when your body & mind is in state of extreme panic that your body is designed to expel contents, whether it be your intestines cramping (diarreah) or nausea from your stomach wanting to expell. He said that this happens when your in the flight or fight mode. I thought it was intresting for us to know that we can bring on nausea on ourselves just by getting all worked up.

    heya Lisa.

i can back that up with smthing i learnt from someone i saw concerning panic attacks.

it goes back to when we only had the reptilian brain and when the flight or fight mode used to kick in, mammals wud expel excess waste from their body so that they cud move faster. hence why a lot of us here suffer from IBS apparently.
