Has anyone ever taken Diazepam. I have been prescribed this for anxiety and it has nausea and v* on the side effects lists so at the moment I don't really want to take it.

    Thanks

Gemma - every tablet has nausea as a side-effect basically.

i dont think ur gnna find one that doesnt unfortunately. i got nausea tking my anti-depressants, but it only lasts a week or so and is worth it. u wont v* from it -- at least, its highly unlikely u will.

Gemma,i take them for when i go to the dentist, which i have this tuesday, now i take 5mg the night before and then 5mg in the morning, this is to relax me so that i can get to the dentist,as i have agrophobia......When i get to the dentist so that i am relaxed enough, so that i can get in the chair for treatment,i have another 10mg,now i have never felt sick taking them, they just help with taking the edge of things.....so don't worry about the side affect.......But what u do need to be concerned about,is vallium is not a tablet that u should take on a regular basis.....as it is addictive......Now once in a while or a short term of 2weeks,every day is suppose to be ok,but please don't rely on it as there are down falls to taking it to get through every day to day situations......once your body gets used to a certian dosage,it then has no effect and u have to up the dosage.....so please be careful with addiction but as far as side effects,i haven't heard of anyone having nausea and vomiting.....Like jennah says most tabs have to list these side affects by law.....

I take diazepam for enxiety/panic attacks. They have never made me feel nauseas, in fact when i feel nauseas and start to panic i take one and i start to calm down and i dont feel as sick! Most tablets have neausea as a side affect but that doesnt mean u will get it! I take diazepam about 4times a week, a low dose, but be careful not to get addicted to it!!!
