-May be a bit graphic-
I nearly threw up yesteday. It wasn't because ofa germ, though- I was dehydrated and hadn't eaten much in the previous 3 days. When I was at my grandmother's apartment, everything started going dark, which it does when I'm dehydrated. I also got a really bad headache. I couldn't lie down or get a drink because I was helping my grandma set up her new computer.
Anyways, when we got home I went and layed down for a while, until my mom wanted me to come downstairs. She noticed I was acting all weird, and she told me to look at her, but I couldn't really see her face since everything at that point was all dark, and I couldn't see anything if I tried to focus on something. Then she finally got out of me that I didn't feel well. Anyways, Saturday was also one of the days that we had tickets to the UVA college football game. We live about a 10 minutes walk from the stadium, and when I asked if I could stay at home, she started yelling about how it's my own fault that I feel sick. She also said before we went I had to eat something. I managed to drink a glass of water, and ate a plum over about 30 minutes. I hate eating when I feel sick. So, after that we started walking to the stadium. I brought a plastic bag and a big coat so I could hide under it if I had to throw up, so no one could see me. While walking down the super crowded road with hundreds of people in it, I was freaking out, because someone was bound to see me getting sick if I did- and it would be even worse in the stadium. When we were about half way there I started to get that weird feeling in my throat that you get when you're about to throw up. Just then we saw some of our neighbors on the sidewalk and my mom started to walk over to them. I followed, but when we got over there I felt so sick that I pulled out the bag, and ran down one of the side roads where there weren't so many people. Then I basically gagged, and made the throwing up noise, but nothing came up. I did it again, and still nothing came up. After that I felt a little better, and in the stadium I bought a bottle of water, hid under my coat, and slowly drank the water.
When we went back home, I felt pretty much better, but still had a headache.
I'm all better today, but I'm afraid that that experience will make me more afraid of going out in public, since my mom had forced me to go to the game, and I nearly got sick in front of hundreds of people.
