My sister in law's roommate was sick with v* last Thursday. We saw him Friday afternoon, and then he was briefly in our house on Saturday, and came and ate lunch at our house yesterday, Sunday. I'm really scared that he was still contagious. I shouldn't have done it, but this morning I looked up the incubation of the virus on the internet and I read in a couple articles I found that people can be contagious from 48 hours to 2 weeks after symptoms subside!!! Is this true???? I'm so scared. My husband went over to their apartment this morning but I made him promise he wouldn't stay long, wouldn't use the bathroom and wouldn't eat anything. This is really freaking me out, and I can't concentrate on work. I lysol'd the hell out of the areas he was in our house, and I don't know what else to do. Anyone have any words of wisdom or anything? I HATE this....

I was in the same situation a couple weeks ago. My aunt was sick with some kind of bug and my cousin kept coming over to my house. They live right next door to us so it was hard to keep him away. The only thing you can do is sanitize and keep your hands clean. Wait it out. I'm sure you'll be fine. I was sure I'd come down with it but luckily I didn't and I pray that I never do. Hope you are okay.

Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn\'t be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn\'t know that so it goes on flying anyway.

Thanks, I'm a little calmer now, but I can't stop obsessing about it. Even in the middle of the night I would wake up every time my husband moved and ask him what's wrong.... thinking he was sick.... which he wasn't. I guess if my SIL didn't get anything, then the chances we're going to are slim. Not much more I can do I guess. Thanks for the support.

It is hard to stop obessing over it. I was sanitizing my hands and counters every couple minutes and even then I still didn't feel safe. Every thing I felt in my body sent me into a panic. But I kept telling myself that since her son didn't catch it then I probably won't either. I think you'll be fine. Try to relax. Easier said than done, I know.
