My mom is sick with some kind of cold. She has a headache, sore throat, stuffy nose and she's sneezing. She can't keep them germs to herself--instead she has to spread them around. She sneezes and doesnt even cover her mouth. She coughs and doesnt cover her mouth. She sneezed right beside me and I felt some spit hit me. Thats when I yelled at her--and I really YELLED. I warned her if I get her cold there is going to be war. Today I woke up with a sore throat so I say I'm getting it...and I'm NOT very happy. I'm thankful it's not the v bug but colds are miserable also. Why do some people just spread it around and not care about anyone else?

Sorry you're going thru that. I don't know why people do that. Same reason why people go to work/restaurants/mall/anywhere when they're sick. I don't get it. Maybe they don't care, maybe they are so unaware that most people don't like germs and therefore don't think about it. I don't know the reason, but I hate it. There was a guy at work last week that had the meanest sounding cough. And for some reason whooping cough is going around here, so that should really reel people in, but it doesn't seem to be. Sorry, seems you can't even get away from it in your own house.

Wow I thought that moms were the protective ones. I know I get after my husband when he sneezes and doesn't cover his mouth, BUT he NEVER does that when he has a cold.
I don't think it is a conscious effort to spread their germs but that no one ever made a point when she was growing up to say she had to cover her mouth. So now it isn't automatic to do it.
I have a cold now but I don't think there is anyone I know that didn't get it, or has it.
I hope that your reovery is quick and at least it is onlya cold. I would rather have a cold over a stomach bug.

I'm really worried now because out of no where she got really nauseous. She had her hands over mouth and burped and said she felt really sick to her stomach. She went in and sat down. Then she went into the bathroom but I didn't hear her v-ing so I'm not sure if she did or didn't. She probably didn't because usually when she does v it's very loud. Anyways, I have a head ache so I'm probably catching whatever it is. I'm so sick of people bringing germs home. I know they can't help it but they can help to prevent spreading them. My mom just doesnt care. When ever she is sick she wants people to baby her and she doesn't care who gets sick in the process. I should just lock myself in my room and come out when ever she's well again. One of these days there will be a stomach bug brought home. Oh how I dread that day.

Sorry for rambling. I just don't want to be sick. But as said above, I'd rather have a cold then a v bug.
