It makes me really nervous when I start hearing from all my friends that they're sick with a sv. Usually though, if no one in my family is sick, I don't get too worried. But my brother has been ill since yesterday, and we share a bathroom, and that scares me! It also really scares me when I'm up at this hour and hear someone in the bathroom for what seems like a long time. I wonder if my brother's gotten sicker or it's spread to more people in my family. I fell asleep really early tonight, (at like 7,) and now I've just woken up and my stomach feels weird. There's an odd sense of fullness and I keep thinking maybe it hurts. It's just scaring me a bit. I hate this time of year! Edited by: mxw08

I also hate winter..
I wake up every morning having N or weird feelings in stomach. It's gastritis. Can it be your case?
Or it may be a sign of depression.

I am going through something quite similar right now. You arent alone.
I hope that you can relax and feel better. Just be careful (was your
hands, use disinfectant and bleach, etc). Sometimes falling asleep with
a heating pad on my abdomen (it has auto shut off ... which is
important for safety in my opinion) helps me relax and forget about any
contrived anxious feelings that I have in my stomach. We will get
through this (:

How are you feeling now? Your stomach probably feels weird cos of all the anxiety you are going through, what a nightmare and it's always worse at night when you can every little sound.

I know if i get in a sv* panic when people around me are ill my stomach goes in to a knot and feels really tight and uncomfortable then i get n* which just seems to confirm your worst fears, but as long as you do the handwashing and don't put your hands near your face you'll be fine.

Same here, I'm really in panic today. Everyone seems to have it. Worst thing is, there's now a bad and highly contagious influenza virus going around that also comes along with stomach flu symptoms, as I was told. Many people I know have it, even a neighbor who's living one floor down... It's so close now!!!

February always seems to be the worst month, and this year, it's especially bad!! Just wish I could get out of here!

I do the same thing with the heating pad!! except the other night i had had it on me all during the day as well and it doesnt have an auto turn off, usually i do ebfore i fall aslee but i forgot and i got a few little blisters . Ha but either way i think it helps.

Anywho, yeah i think many people feel the same way you do, and not only emets. I notice everyone who im in classes with and at my work we are all tired of winter and just sicknesses in general.
But the goodnews is we are finally on the upswing of winter...or so i have to tell myself in order to not get too sad. Because after febrary we are really over with all the bad stuff and then its just the big thaw (well at least up here in Milwaukee it is). Just remember that this too shall pass, and before we know it it will be a nice spring with flowers and sun!
Hope you are doing well!
