So... the saga continues. I've been sick for quite a while now. Every time I eat, shortly after I get what I think is sort of nausea and really just a really yucky feeling in my abdomen. Foods I used to eat with no problems now cause trouble, and I basically just feel rather ill everyday. When I don't eat, I feel hungry, but pretty good. But I can't go like that forever... My lower abdomen has also hurt off and on (mostly on,) for a few months.

I had a CT scan done and everything came back normal, so now the doctor wants to do a colonoscopy. Earlier today when the nurse called and told me that I told her I'd get back to her. I really don't want to do it, because I'm really afraid drinking the laxatives required is going to make me nauseated, and I'm also really afraid the anesthesia they use is going to do it. Earlier, I was feeling pretty good (I hadn't really eaten yet,) and thought that the results were sure to come back normal and they'd just tell me I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Now that I've eaten though, and am freaking out for the trillionth billionth millionth time because I feel sick and am extraordinarily freaked I'm going to throw up, I'm wondering if I should have it done.

Sigh. I don't like all this.
