Ok guys, that list that I read yesterday about the symptoms to when you are going to v* was not a good thing for me to read, I am slightly tired, headachy, dizzy, weak, and weird to my stomach....Of course someone at work said they think they have a gastro, and well now I'm thinking that maybe I caught it off of her, or maybe she was lying because she wanted to go have sex with the boss, who knows but that list is freaking me out.......

    Terrified girl,

A lot of times - when you are panic striken when thinking about being sick (especially when you just read a list of symptoms) your brain can overload and make you think you are having those symptoms. Its cruel when you think about it - the brain knows you are scared and does exactly that to you! Sounds to me like you are so panicked that you are manifesting the symptoms of v* when in reality - you are okay.

I think you will be fine - that happens to me a lot. See if you can find a way to distract yourself and you may see those symptoms disappear. Hope you feel better soon!

apparently here are some signs that SOME people show jsut before they v* (remember just cos u show some of these signs dont mean ur defenitely gnna v*)

1.) a sudden increase in the amount of saliva in ur mouth

    2.) light-headedness/weakness

3.) a "heavy chin" - my friend told me this one - the gland under ur chin will feel heavy if ur close to v*ing

    4.) feeling faint/shakey

ummm..... <carries on thinking as she walks away>

The worst part is that I am trying to keep myself distracted by preparing supper, since I have my SIL coming over, and tonight we're suppose to go car shopping.....Hmmmm???? How do I do that, I guess I could always take one of my pills to calm down.

Gees Jen, I am not mad at you for posting that <sighs>, but I also didn't know exactly what the post was about, and I guess even if it was, us curious ones will look anyways even if we know we will regret it afterwards, so there's no need to get all hasty

It could just be one of thosedays where you just don't feel good. I have days where I just feel like crap. Maybe you are tired and just need some sleep. Maybe take a nap? I wouldn't worry. Try not to. If you were really nauseous, you would know, so try to relax. Hope you feel better soon.

    Hey Terified girl,

Sometimes when you read things like that, as Jessica said, your mind can start playing with you, and making you have those symptoms. Its like when a person says they dont feel good, and others around them suddenly start not feeling good either, or like when someone yawns and you feel the urge to suddenly yawn. Its really just a mind thing. You're not sick, and yeah its cruel that the mind does that to you. Jenneh was just tryin to answer what someone posted, she didnt mean harm by it. I know it can be upsetting to read something like that. Im sorry its getting to you, and sometimes you just have to know yourself personally, and if you feel it would bother you then realize that your mind is prolly gonna try and backlash it on you. I hope you feel better soon here, and just know that the mind can do things like that (it really sucks doesn't it?). If you feel you need to, taking something to help may be good so you can go car shopping later. I hope it goes well and you feel better.Edited by: Galadriel

I think unfortunately that anxiety shows itself in
similar symptoms to v* which is not ideal for us emets! I'm sure
    you will be fine</font>

    Hey Terified Girl

good! im pleased you are feeling better - it really is (most of the time) anxiety related. its a case of having to take ur mind of it - its the only way. we need to think/concentrate on our feelings less - like shopping!
