I'm not a native English speaker and I really need to know what do these two phrases mean-
    - too close for comfort
    - slim to none
    - f*** me pumps

can somebody explain the meaning, please))
It was hard but I'd do it again (c)

I've only heard of the first one...which means something is too near or close to be comfortable - say like a car only just misse dhitting you by a few centimetres it would have been too close for comfort, or you were near something you didn't like, things like that.

slim to none i haven't heard of but i would imagine in means like next to none, or next to no chance for example "that horse has next to no chance of winning the race" or the chances of winning the lottery are next to none...

the last one - ?!!!! Edited by: paulinek
