Hmmm.....well how old are you? Your period can be messed up in your teen years, I know mine was. And sometimes still is, after I went on Bc it regulated itself.

There could be many factors, stress, anxiety( !!!! ) lol! Could be anything, you could talk to your doctor, usually you'd let her/him know what's going on with your period if it's being all weird and such.

    Hope it all works out!

    Thanks crazybeautiful!

To answer your question, I am 13, and have had my period for a year, and if it doesn't start by the end of this week I am definatly going to call the doctor! I never knew that factors such as anxiety, stress, etc could mess it up. Hmm. Anyways, thanx!

YEah, I'm sure you're completely fine, I used to be so irregular, I remember not getting my period, then getting it for a month or two. You're still very young, and it's probably stull adjusting.

Yup what the girls said is true, and not only does stress mess it up but also when the weather changes seasons, it messes some ppl up, used to happen to me all the time. Now I'm on BC. And its great for always being on time, never any surprises!!!!

So don't stress about it because its totally normal! If you keep stressing, you won't get it!

Hmm then maybe I should stress, it would keep the darn annoying thing away. But that's not healthy now is it?

Anyways, thanx for your replies guys!

yep. you're period can be irregular for the first three years that you've had it. it's perfectly normal. i remember my period skipping months when i was younger. you might want to go to the doctor anyways just to see what's up but, it should come either way.

Ive had irregular periods always! I can go six months without one then have two in a month! Im sure its just stress, the slightes bit of stress and anxiety can mess up ur periods, so i wouldnt worry too much. But if u are worried then go see ur doctor, they will put ur mind at rest! At the moment i havent had a period for 2 and a half months ... makes it very hard to get pregnant tho lol!!!

As everyone else has said your periods are often irregular in the first few years. I missed about 4 months once so its certainly not uncommon. It can be caused by loads of things like stress or a change to your diet or things like that. But it should come pretty soon. I read that if it doesnt come for 6 months you should see a doctor - so I'm sure that u are still ok and 'safe'

Its annoying when you just dont know when u're going to be on - but I'm sure things will settle soon

mines still irregular now -- and im 17. so its tking its time to stop becoming so irregular but maybe it wil get there.

but im sure ur body is just adapting to "becoming a woman" as they say in all those videos they make u watch at school, lol. but stress, anxiety, losing weight can all stop ur periods from coming.. but i wudnt worry too much at such a young age.

don't worry, i haven't had a period for 2 months either! This happened to me when I was 13, ( last year ) and now it's a reoccuring thing, because im a bit stressed out with my body atm.
whatever you do, don't worry, otherwise you'll make a mountain out of a mole-hill, you're perfectly healthy!
I started my periods when I was 12, and they're usually spot-on, but occasionally, like you I skip them for a month, maybe two.
