This Wednesday my mom's best friend wants me to go with him while he delivers new releases to the video stores. It takes him about eight hours total in time and there is a few hours of driving time. The roads on this route are very turny and hilly, and very narrow, much like the road my friend got car sick beside me on. He wants me to go because I need practice driving before I get my license next month. I really want to go but I'm afraid I'll feel sick. I'll be driving and all but what if a head ache strikes or the craps strike? I can't be feeling sick and driving and I MUST drive because this man drives like a mad man on turny roads and thats how my friend got sick. He was driving like crazy. I was going to take an Atarax before going but that makes you drowsy. Should I just not go?

Have you tried ginger capsules? They're supposed to be more effective than Dramamine. I took them on my vacation and on the airplane and they worked for me! It sounds like it might be fun, you should be fine!

Don't worry. I would say if you were the passenger, be afraid! But
even then, you could take some Dramamine or something like that
(by the way, if you're REALLY worried, I think they have some motion
sickness meds that are less drowsy now). If you're driving, it'll be
fine. Trust me. You'll be focusing on the road n your mind will be on
practicing your driving. You get your license next month! Be stoked
about that! If you ever start feeling bad when you drive, roll down
the windows, take deep breaths n relax. Don't let a potentially fun
opportunity pass you by. YOU have control. Good luck!

Also the fact that there are no unknown movements due to you being the person steering the vehicle.
