I feel really stupid for posting this but I want to know if anyone else thinks like this.

My mom bought me silk leopardpajama's since I love leopard so much. The pajama's are gorgeous and but I cannot bring myself to wear them. I've had them for about a year now and I can't get into them. For some weird reason, I believe if I wear night clothes then I will vomit, so I sleep in normal clothes like jeans and a shirt. How screwed up is this?

And I want to move my room around but I'm afraid that moving my bed to a different location will cause me to vomit as well. I was in my room almost crying over this because I want to move my room so bad. I know that I could vomit with the room being the way it is now but I just can't move it around. Change scares me and my emet doesn't like change either.

Is anyone else like this with anyhing?

I once felt sick so I slept on the floor and felt better. After that I basically slept on the floor for almost 6 months. It's really hard to break habits (I've had a ton)..but you just have to think very hard to yourself , "the position of my bed will not cause me to v*"

I tend to avoid even sleeping in a bed. In my clothes on the sofa downstairs is where I'll be, for the same reason that I think that if I get into a situation where you're obliged to stay in one spot I get panicky. Hence I have also developed a fear of toilets If I'm taking a slash I will usually get panicky because there is no real way I can move away from the toilet and the same for... Anything else toilet related. Also the same for cleaning my teeth, eating a meal, sitting in class. Going to bed is no different.

Get where you're coming from, but when you feel like this it's so hard to convince yourself isn't it? We don't tend to listen to reason or logic,Edited by: tomvickery

Yes, I also dislike changes. I'm kind of opssosite with the PJ's though, I don't like to sleep in clothes. I also hate moving around stuff. Just earlier today in my math class, the desks were kind of strange, so I moved them back before the rest of the class got there.

Moving your stuff around n sleepin in night clothes won't make you
sick. We all know it, but I know how hard it is to convince ourselves
otherwise. The more you think about how these changes will
negatively affect you, the sicker you'll make yourself. You can't get
sick from changes like this, but your mind is so powerful that you can
make yourself feel terrible thinkin about it.
Why don't you try something different for just one night--n keep in
mind that it's only temporary n you can change it tomorrow...or in
the middle of the night if you start freakin out !
Let us know what you decide to do.

I am totally the same way, Why dont you try just lazing around in your pj's just watching tv or something?

The house I live in now, I have v* once, and after I had to change around my room so I didnt associate anything with it. I try to make my bed as comfy as possible, and yes the same all the time. I dont like to be hot, or wear heavy pj's.

Just like everyone elses post the best thing is to think, I am okay if I ________.

I know its hard, I just read something intense, until I fall asleep so I dont have to think about it.

50% of the time I sleep on our Sofa, its so weird I know but I don't feel safe in my bed, plus my mum gets sick a lot and then I am trapped in my bedroom and I hate it. Love my Sofa though
