Bit disappointing...

I hope that you aren't saying that you are dissapointed in yourself. I think that just being caught off guard like that would be enough to set anyone off. I have never seen the movie myself. As soon as I found out the crap that they put it in I wasn't interested at all.
I think that you being on here admitting and reconcidering that it wasn't THAT BAD is great. I am sure that I would have reacted in a very similar manor because I know for a fact that it is glorified and over gross from what I have heard. Blech.

Eh, it's just they only showed about 2 seconds of it happening. I've seen worse things of people getting sick, and this wasn't all that bad compared to them- yet I still started panicking, crying, shaking, etc.

That is something I always deal with. I can't see people v*, even if it is just on TV. It gets me so scared that I panic for the rest of the night. THEN I get horrible v* nightmares. And I get even more scared b/c I think it's like a "sign" that I'm going to me ill soon. IT is horrible, and if I feel sick or panicky to begin with, catching a glipse of something like that on TV makes it worse. Even if the actions on TV look like they might be leading up to what we're talking about, I turn the show off.


I'm sorry I don't have much advice for you, just support because I deal with the same thing every time I try to watch television. OH! but I did hear about one thing actually, and I've used it before. There is a website and offhand I don';t remember what it is, but it delinates each scene of movies and will tell you if there is a v* scene and where it is. I';ll try to find it.

So searching for "Jackass: The movie" We discover that it has 3 vomiting scenes, and it lets you know what is happening in them too. The same goes for any scenes of blood, gore,bad language, and any kind of bad attitude.Edited by: tomvickery

I hope no one makes fun of me but I cannot even look at cartoon vomit. I saw a Simpsons rerun not that long ago and Bart had eaten some candies in some counsellor's office, the counsellor told him to spit it out- then he threw it up. Does anyone here watch that show? If so does anyone remember that episode? It was an old one I know. I literally bawled my eyes out after seeing that. At a point I kept on telling myself over and over again that it was only a cartoon, but it didn't stop me from going nuts. I cannot deal with vomit, real or not. I just cannot deal with it. I know, I need some serious help.

I can't deal with that either....I cannot bring myself to look at the pictorial diagrams on gut-reaction as to how v*ing happens....I just can't. I know exactly where you're coming from. Oh my god.....let me tell you something!!


I was in the bagel shoppe the other morning and there was this little girl and her father in front of me. She was picking out things to drink and there are these drinks out with characters on top, some sugary kids drink. One had a man with boogers coming out of its nose, and one was a girl with her hand over her mouth. The girl showed me...she pulled her pony tail of the drink character and v* came out of her mouth. I ALMOST DIED!!! I immediately started shakening and grabbing my boyfriend and i had to leave the bagel store. Hoe HORRIBLE?!?! To market this CRAP, horrible, just horrible.[img]smileys/smilies_07.gif[/img]
