I'm scared~! My cousin came over last night. [She's staying until tomorrow night or something]I mean i love her and all but this morning she told me she was bullimic (yeah she'll kill me for writing that but she wont know i think...)! Ahhh~! She says she normally doesnt eat because of that but just now she decided to eat alot. Which scares me.I told her not to eat too much. She just laughed at me..grr she loves to scare me. *sighs* I hate that...I feel scared to eat much now..I'm scared she might get sick... and plus we are sleeping tonight in the same room...Sorry for complaining Edited by: wing

Does she know that you are emetophobic? I hope not because that is so cruel for her to scare you like that. Can't she sleep elsewhere? I'm so sorry you have to face this. I would be a wreck too. Email meanytimeif you want to chat- [email protected]

My best friend and.college roommate was bulimic, it was so rough, I wasd always nervous and so was she. Preventing her from doing it made her nervous and when she did it I was nervous. Thank God, I love her and all, but we;'re not roommates any longer and she goes to a different school. I can handle her over the phone!

OMG......I'm so afraid of coughing and burping esp. The only time I've ever burped really is the last time I got ill when I was younger....in the bathtub--I'm afraid of taking baths too and showers if I dont feel well.

This is just horrible and I'm glad I found this forum, Ive been dealing with this for hmmmm.....about 15 years now. I finlly have a place where people understand. Not even the doctors undstand

I cant burp too - I did one of those sick tasting ones before I v* last

Sorry - even though she's bullimic and at your house it doesnt mean that she will v* then - especially as she knows your emetophobic. And if she does - although it will be scarry - she in in control and knows not to be around you when it happens. It a scarry situation - but maybe you could have a talk with her about.

    Best of luck

Oh god, that a bit of a nasty situation? If she knows ur emetophobic then try talking to her and mak her understand how scared v* actually makes u. And if she doesn v* she will probably do it in private, not infront of you or anything. I wish there was more i could say to help (. Hope ur ok?

Is she the kind of person that when you say you are really scared of something, she will pretend to do it to get a rise out of you? One of my friends was like that, always pretending to v* on me and stuff, untill one time when she did it I started crying. She didn't see that, but me other friend did, and after I talked to my friend a lot and told her how much she scared me, she finally stopped. I'm sorry, thats basically all the advice I can offer you for now. I hope everythings ok! Good luck!

Thanks. ehehe well she left finally. She didnt get sick thank goodness. Well even if she did it in private 1). she's not the secretive about it and then my mom would know and then i'd hear them talking about it so much. 2). She makes herself sick by thinking about how much she's eaten and stuff notso i was scared ehehe.. When i told her i was emetophobic she had just finishedeating I was like "are you okay? and she was like "I'm trying to hold it in"That's why i was scared. [i meanshe was in my room and such..]Oh well i dont think i can have her over anymore much, but thanks for your replys. I appriciate (gosh..i really cant spell..) it!

I'm glad she didn't get sick around you. If I was in your position I would have left the home. You are very brave for taking that chance by staying there.
