Today was my first day of my new job. I work at a place called Carousel Dinner Theatre and it's a sort-of fancy restaurant which has dinner and a Broadway musical. I only work in the box office, though, and not near all the customers and other servers.

It seems cool, because I love musicals and I get paid to watch each musical and eat dinner! But the scary thing is, the bathrooms and fresh air are sooo far away from the box office, that if I felt sick, I woudn't be able to get away if I started panicking, and the box office employees are in this small, confined area.

I'm happy that I finally got a job, after being unemployed since the end of July, but I'm so nervous that I'll have another relapse. Eek! I mean, seriously, I have IBS, and the bathroom is at least a two minute walk, and if I have an accident, I'll just die! But I'm so excited about the non-emet aspects of the job. Just assure me that I'll be okay and I'm in the right place, lol!

Congrats on the new job, sounds like a lot of fun!!!

You said there are box office employees, plural... so I'm sure they'd back you up if you said you were having an attack, or if you didn't want to get too personal with them, said you didn't feel well.... I know I would help someone out in that situation.

You'll do great, and congratulations again!
