I went in to the doctors earlier today to get the "FluMist" It's a nose spray stuff that contains weakened flu germs. I was sitting in the little room thing reading the info sheet, and among the side effects, there was throwing up! I tried to convince my mom to let me not get it, but she said I had to, because she had already paid, and I had already given her money for it.

Now I'm terrified that I might get sick from it... I feel okay so far, but I can't help worrying.

Some of my friends have taken flumist, and haven't felt a thing! They have to put any possible side-effects on there for legal reasons, they are very unlikely. sorry thats all I can offer, but i'm sure you'll be fine. take care!

That is what I keep saying.. they are trying to protect
themselves from getting sued IF someone were to have that kind of side
effect which is UNLIKELY and if it wasnt listed! Your odds of vomiting
is highly unlikely

I agree 100% but I would probably be worried just like you are now because that's who we are and you know that once 24 hours pass, you will believe it more that nothing will happen to you and then you will start to feel better, we ask for assurance, but we still can't believe completely because hey! We're not inside eachother, but you will be fine, trust us!

Everyone's right, they put all the things everyone has ever complained about as a side effect so they won't get sued. You never know if someone tested the flu mist thing after they had something to eat that caused food poisoning and that's why they got sick. The flu virus that they put in that is more likely to make you have a stuffy nose, not throwing up. You'll be fine, you'll see!

Please don't worry. I don't think you'll be sick from it. Everybody's correct...they have to put every side affect possible to cover their butts.....Stay Strong!!&nbs p; Di

I am sure, 100%, that you will not get sick from it. They just have to do that for insurance reasons...but I know how it feels to get worried and not want to take it. I've been there...but I realized that not taking made my problem soo much worse. Its a medication for a reason! ;-) So I am sure you will be fine!
