I'm tempted to say that if you're worried about side-effects, whatever infection it's supposed to treat must not be that bad.. but I've worried about the same things when I /really/ had to take antibiotics badly.

Really there's nothing to worry about so long as you take antibiotics with a bit of bread or crackers or milk or some fruit, or whatever really. Avoid caffeine and coffee when you're on antibiotics.

Flucloxacillin sounds similar to Amoxicillin, which I've had many times over the last years for ear infections and that's never made me feel unwell. Recently I've had to take some pretty serious antibiotics for a more difficult infection, and I did okay just by taking it with a little bit of food.

Symptoms from antibiotics aren't very severe anyway, and since they're actually good for us (when we really need them), waiting out the symptoms like phobics usually do is actually the right thing to do.
So long as you don\'t give in to the fear, it doesn\'t matter what else happens.

Thanks.. though i'm not allowed to eat with these, 4 a day on an empty stomach and an hour before food.
i'm on my third day and not feeling too bad, they were prescribed for a staph infection.. which i'd usually ignore but i'm pregnant so the choice is taken away from me really.. baby comes first!

i'm on these too! 4 a day for two weeks on an empty stomach or an hour before food. tonight, i have to say i think was the only time they've made me icky. and i dont even know if it was them. but im alright. im on them for an infected toe, i orginally thought if i cant eat with them, they must be pretty weak, cvus normally you HAVE to eat with them to stop n* and v* so these must be pretty weak eh ? are they helping anyways ?
and i adore you, you\'re my life, but in the end, i have to take a leap of faith and find out for myself, who i am and where i stand.
