This has nothing to do with emet and well it'll probably sound a lil wierd...but today I felt so alive. ok at the end I tie it into emet

At work today it was helllla raining outside and I was doing a deposit for a customer when BOOM!!!! hella big boom sound and lights out. I kind of stood there for awhile and was like crap! my computer shut off, than I look up and the whole place is dark. I was like sweet, time to go home. Unfortuanately we had to stay open and accept only deposits with hand written receipts. It was funny though because after my customer I hit F11 on the computer (button to end transaction) by habit hah. But than these people came in and were like cash my checks...but it's like uhhh the power is out. HAHA but it didn't phase me, just the randomness of it all just made me feel so human. It's just a break from the norm, I mean I'm used to working non-stop till close, but today I got a break. I mean just watching everyone walk around like zombies in the Albertsons (we're inside a grocery store) felt so awkward yet refreshing.I love when the norm gets broken.

Ok I lied, I can tie this into emet. Think about your habits and routines with emet. They get so tedious, boring, and frusterating. Now break one, I know it's hard to break a lot of them, but when you break one successfully it feel so refreshing and good. Why? Because the norm bores us and to feel alive you must keep yourself on your toes. Do something random, something you normally wouldn't do. Now I'm not saying "go out and eat a full on meal and go ice skating and do a 900 degree spin while eating dessert and watching the vomit scene in Team America". Even something small and miniscule and make a big impact on your attitude. Cause think about it. This emet is all mental, if you stay positive and upbeat than you can have the power to control it and defeat it.

    Ok I'm done rambling =)

From California, I used to never say that word, and when I first moved here I thought it was dumb, but now it flies outta my mouth faster all the time.

I totally know what you mean!

I liek it when somethign different happens..... like today, we were in class just doing some boring work, when the fire bell went! Except it wasn't that good, because we had to go outside, and it was raining

But i like change except, i do get a bit 'scared' if i muck up my routinein the morning.. it just doesn't feel right, and i hate it when things don't feel right!

    I know what you mean!!

Like anything like say a real good thunderstorm, or tons of snow like that, I love that, because its like exciting and a diversion from the everyday normalness. It adds excitement and stuff.

Btw when you say "hella" I think of that cheese brand, "helluva good" lol!!

I love when something unexpected breaks a pattern, even when its for a moment, things feel so different and cool.
