What does anyone know about this product? It claims to kill norovirus, and to kill it quickly, and it appears to have scientific data to back it up, but not being a scientist, I'm not really sure what I'm reading. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Nobody's heard of this? Is anyone here scientifically-minded that can maybe read over the info and see if it sounds plausible? Thank you so much!!

Hiya,
I've had a look and it certainly claims quite clearly to kill noro so i'm sure it must do, but unless i clicked on the wrong bit it looks like it's a surface spray not a hand sanitiser?

I don't think they would be allowed to claim it killed something if it didn't, so i would trust it!

Thank you so much for your thoughts! I was thinking that too, but then my husband said "You're going to spend $$ on something that 'claims' to do this".

Yes, it seems to be that it's a surface spray, but works SO fast, and also a room fogger? How I wish I could get my daughter's teacher to let off a fogger every night!

Hello to everyone!
I jsut came across this thread and although it is quite old, I am sure that maybe some people would like an informed answer to the original question regarding SaniGuard.
I have just taken on the UK & European marketing of this great product, it is fully validated and comes with complete clinical efficacy. If anyone would like copies of the reports, please feel free to drop me a note and I will be happy to help.

Best regards,

Oliver.

Hello Denglish,

Education Departments are starting to get interested in looking after the Pipils in their care, mainly due to the risk of litigation these days!
Over in the UK, we have seen quite an increase in E. Coli cases in Nursery Schools, these outbreaks can be reduced or avoided by good hand hygiene and environmental cleaning.

SaniGuard is available from ebay, it comes in two forms - a spray canister for keyboards, telephone keypads, light switches, door handles etc - All those "Touch Surfaces".
It is also available as a "Total Release" canister, press the button and the contents are sprayed into the room or vehicle, getting in to every nook and cranny, sanitising and deodorising everything it comes into contact with!
More info at: saniguard.org
If you need any further information, please let me know.

Quite right Fixxxer,

The lack of good hand hygiene has indeed increased the levels of bugs we find today in our hospitals, schools, cruise ships and anywhere that people congregate.
But because we now have viruses, bacterias and fungal spores that are difficult to treat, we also need better environmental controls.
As an example, you will see hand sanitisers everywhere, dispensing alcohol hand gel, thats great but the fact is, Clostridium Difficile can actually be grown in alcohol gel!
So, thats why we also need to consider effective environmental cleaning, as well as improving good hand hygiene.

Probably the best way to buy for Canada is to call SaniGuard in Ohio: saniguard.com/contact.html and ask them how you can purchase their product in Canada.
I hope that helps you, please let me know how you get on.
All the best,
Oliver.
