I feel like s***. I know this sounds gross, but this is my main symptom : I'm like pooing mucus! What the heck! Its so gross.

I know it does sound gross, but it happens that way sometimes. Things get fired up and I have actually had that happen to me also especially after a bout of d*. I know you had some d* last night, so it may be that your insides are not quite up to par yet. You probably have some IBS going on.

But, remember that you got through it last night and you will get through it tonight. Try to think of the things that helped you last night.

I feel like I am so over tired and so overstressed now that nothing could fix me unless I slept for a few days in a row, stopped pooing, and could get paid while doing it.

Maybe you could take some sips of some clear liquids (water, 7-up, etc.) so you don't get dehydrated and then try to get some sleep.Really, try not to worry about the mucus. It does happen and is more common than you would think. I know things are piling up on you right now, but try to take one day at a time.

I'm drinking peppermint tea... I guess peppermint is supposed to help calm and ease nausea.

Good, you are right about the tea. It is very soothing and good for you.
With this happening alot may now would be a good time to check with your doctor. There are many medications which can slow the gut down and ease those symtoms.

I go to my doctor for EVERY little thing. Most of the time, I don't even know what it is that's ailing me. If I still have the d* mucus symptoms on like Wednesday, then I'll call. My mom thinks I have food poisoning.I ate out twice over the weekend.

That is a possibility. And don't feel bad about having to go to the doctor all the time. One of these times they will find out what is wrong. If it is food poisoning, it should be getting out of your system soon. Sometimes when we have the mucus symtom it means there is just nothing left in us (sorry to be gross), so hopefully you may be on the road to recovery. By all means, if you are not better by Wednesday, see the doctor.

I know it is a cycle of ups and downs. The more frustrated and depressed you get, the more frustrated and depressed you continue to get. But once you get to feeling better, things will look up and the cycle will break. I have felt like you do before and it seems like there is just no end. But really, things do get better. It's hard to believe that when you are in the middle of a hard time.

Try to sit back and do some deep breathing, in through your nose and out through your mouth. See if you can just calm down enough to get some sleep.Just remember what happened after last night. You did start to feel better. I know night time is usually the worst, but you really need to get some sleep so your body can heal.

Thank you, I think I will go lay in bed and watch some TV now I've calmed a little. Thank you, again, for your help.

I'm still feeling yucky, and tired. I got to sleep probably around 11 somthing last night... my abdomen hurts and is really tender to the touch. I'm doing the B.R.A.T. diet to try and get things moving again... this sucks.

    That doesn't sound good, Allie.

I mean, what if it's your appendix or something like that? Don't worry about going to the doctor for every little thing, you'll be glad you did if it doesn't turn out to be so little.

I hope you feel better soon. Let us know how you're doing. If you need to talk, email me at [email protected]. I am at work so I can't chat on MSN, but I can email chat with you without getting a ton of internet hits (yes, they count how many websites we visit). Anyways, I"m here if you need me.

    Hello:

How are you? I hope you are feeling better. It sounds like what you might have is called Colitis. I'm pretty sure it's a virus. I've had that a couple of times, and I've had bad abdominal cramps with it. They say sometimes you can get it from certain antibiotics, but I'm not sure. My mother in law told me the last time I had it that Imodium works for it. You will get better soon. Hope you are feeling better. If it gets worse, I would go to the doctor. Get well soon.
