How do you all cope when you see and hear about people who are ill? Its happening to me every day - I'm at school with people who have been throwing up, have flu and are unwell. How do I cope?? Its hard. It would be so much easier for me to just stay at home Have u got any tips? Or just some words of encoragement!

It hasn't hit our area yet, so I haven't heard of anyone being sick, but when that time comes that it's going around, I don't shake hands at church, I wash my hands alot, use Purell alot, stay in my office at work, and don't go out at break time or anything. I panic alot and usually eat very lightly for a week or so because I will be nervous. My emet wasn't bad when I was in high school so I can't imagine having to go to school with my emet like it is now. Just practice your good hygeine and that's about all you can do. I don't know what else to say!

In memory of the sweetest german shepherd I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I love you, Duncan. 3/12/02 - 12/19/11

2J2 is right. Just practice good hygiene, eat well, and get enough sleep. Also, try to just block it out if you can. That seems to work for me. You will be fine. Think positive. Mel
