i gave my son up for adoption. its an open adoption, or, it was suppose to be, but now, the adoptive mom changed her phone number and has denied my facebook request 3 times..........i havent seen my son in 7 months and i am suppose to see him every 6 months. i sent him a birthday card and i never received any thing back. im thinking of going to the address i found on line to see if they have moved but i dont want to go to jail......the adoption isnt final and it wont be for quite a while because his dad objected to the adoption, but i have signed over my rights...any help?

I can't imagine how difficult it would be to give up your child and I'm sorry I really wish I could help but this sounds like something that you should really take up with the adoption agency. I don't know any of the legalities surrounding adoption. You should contact the agency that dealt with your adoption and also respect the fact that the new family may want their privacy.
